VMware Cloud Director Portal Access

Access to VMWare Cloud Director via the vGRID Customer portal:

  1. Log into the vGRID Customer portal - https://customer.vgrid.nz/
  2. Click on 'Virtual Servers' menu option
  3. Click on 'Cloud Director Users' tab
  4. Click on the 'Launch Cloud Director' button
  5. Enter your VMware Cloud Director login credentials
    * bookmark the link for later use.

 

Adding a new VMware Cloud Director login:

  1. Log into the vGRID Customer portal - https://customer.vgrid.nz/
  2. Click on 'Virtual Servers' menu option
  3. Click on 'Cloud Director Users' tab
  4. Click on the 'Add User' button
    • Enter the user name (login id) for the user
    • Enter the users full name (optional)
    • Enter the users email address (optional)
    • Select the Role assignment from the dropdown list
    • Enter the users password
    • Enter the confirmation password
    • Click the 'Add' button

 

Deleting a VMware Cloud Director login:

  1. Log into the vGRID Customer portal - https://customer.vgrid.nz/
  2. Click on 'Virtual Servers' menu option
  3. Click on 'Cloud Director Users' tab
  4. Locate the user to be removed within the list
  5. Click on the delete button  
  6. Click OK to confirm the deletion of the user.
