Failed to Backup a SharePoint Item
Job Error:
Processing site: [SharePoint site] completed with warning: Failed to backup item: [SharePoint path of affected item], Download timeout exceeded (last error: The response status code does not indicate success: 416 (Requested Range Not Satisfiable).). All retry attempts failed. Re-run the backup job to proceed.
Solution:
Please try to manually download the exact item directly from the SharePoint Web UI at [SharePoint site] using its full path [SharePoint path of affected item].
This is the quickest way to confirm whether the source item itself can be served correctly by Microsoft 365.
If manual download above works, please replace the source item with a fresh copy of the item by downloading it, then uploading it back to the same SharePoint library with the same content, and re-run the backup job.
If the manual download above does not work because item is corrupt, delete the item and re-run the backup job.
